Is Neville brave?
When Harry first met Neville, few of us would have thought that he would one day be one of his most faithful friends and also a remarkable botanist. And yet... And yet when you think about it, hasn't Neville more than once shown how brave he was? Need to refresh your memory?
From Sites at Penn State
A first moment when one notices this courage is when Neville tries to prevent Ron, Hermione and Harry from leaving the Gryffindor Tower in the middle of the night, which is forbidden and would earn them restraint and a reduction in the points of the Gryffindor hourglass. Neville is struck by a spell by Hermione who petrifies him and the three friends manage to thwart the plans of Voldemort and Professor Quirrell to seize the philosopher's stone. But Neville's courage was rewarded because he received 50 points for his bravery and they proved decisive in winning the 4 Houses Cup in Gryffindor.
A second striking moment is the battle between Nagini, The Monstrous Snake of Voldemort, and Neville. The latter, armed with the sword of Godric Gryffondor, manages to defeat the monster. If that's not a sign of courage!
From Serenova crafts
During their expedition to the Ministry of Magic to retrieve a prophecy from Professor Trelawney, Harry and his friends are trapped in the mystery department by the Death Eaters. Neville also took part in the fight, confronting Bellatrix Lestrange, who once tortured his parents.
