5 "Harry Potter cocktails" recipes

Yes, we love summer! The sun, the beach, the holidays ...

Among all these wonderful things, there is one thing with which we still have a little trouble - the heat!

You are probably wondering, what is better than a refreshing cocktail (alcoholic or not) to withstand the heat. We have the answer: cocktails inspired by Harry Potter.

We are happy to share with you our 5 “Harry Potter cocktails”, all of which can be made with just 5 ingredients.

To add an extra touch of magic we used our Harry Potter chocolate / ice cube molds (kawaii / mix). If you want to make non-alcoholic drinks, all you have to do is remove the alcohol from the recipes.

Cocktail 1: Patronus

Harry Potter Patronus cocktail

The Patronus spell is a defensive enchantment aimed at spawning a Patronus, a protective spirit, which can serve as a shield against certain creatures or act as a messenger. In the spirit of Patronus, our cocktail has a silvery color and a taste of fresh lemon.

  • Some ice cubes
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • Tonic
  • 90 ml gin
  • 1 teaspoon grenadine syrup

  • Put the ice cubes in a shaker
  • Pour the gin
  • Then the tonic at your convenience
  • Add a teaspoon of grenadine syrup for added flavor
  • Finally pour the lemon juice
  • Shake well

Expecto Patronus!

An orange-colored drink reminiscent of the iconic red hair of the Weasley family.

  • Ice cubes
  • 180ml ginger ale
  • A hint of grenadine syrup
  • 90ml orange juice
  • 1 slice of pineapple (optional)

  • Slowly pour the ingredients one after the other into a glass
  • Add a pineapple slice for decoration
  • Do not mix or shake, if you want to maintain a gradient effect in the colors

Cocktail 3: Lord

Although voldemort's eyes are white in movies, they are described as blood red in books. Our drink is inspired by these red eyes and the darkness of its soul.

  • 90 ml cranberry juice
  • Some ice cubes
  • 90ml of Blavod Vodka

If you can't find Vodka Blavod, the trick is to put a few drops of green, red and blue food coloring in vodka to get the black color.

  • Put the ice cubes in a glass
  • Pour the cranberry juice
  • Pour the vodka very gently and carefully, tilting the glass, so that it does not mix with the cranberry juice
  • Do not mix in order to have 2 layers of colors

Cocktail 4: Snape  (Rogue in French)

Harry Potter Snape cocktails

Let’s pay tribute to Professor Snape by naming our cocktail after him. Its purple color is just as complex as the character.

  • A background of vodka
  • Cranberry juice
  • Sweet and sour soda
  • Curacao liqueur
  • Grenadine juice

  • Place the ice cubes in a container
  • Pour the grenadine syrup
  • Then the vodka
  • Finally a hint of curacao liqueur
  • A little sweet and sour soda
  • Finally add the cranberry juice
  • Mix everything well

Cocktail 5: Polyjuice (Polynectar in French)

Don't worry, this is a substitute. You are not going to transform yourself into someone else, until you have another person's hair in your glass!

The recipe is for a punch bowl.

  • Just under 2 liters of lime sorbet
  • Vodka
  • 2 liters of lemon soda

  • Add the lime sorbet
  • Then the vodka
  • And finally finish with lemon soda

Attention it will foam! Our advice prepare it in front of your guests for a guaranteed “wow” effect.
